I know it's legal. The point was that we have idiots here that do dumb shite that screws up recreational outdoor sports for others.

Better than the jackasses who mount them. If I catch an 8 lb bass he gone get eaten. At 8 lbs he's live enough and the food it takes to maintain that bastard can go to several smaller fellars.

I'm pretty sure everyone here know the fish and game laws, it's the ones that don't that need to learn a little conservation goes a long way. It's sad the number of kids that wanna hunt and fish and have no one to teach them or the one that does take them is a fool.It really does take generations with some people to change the way they think. You can bet your arse the fools shooting the cranes never had anyone show them the right way.

I sure as heck ain't mounting an 8 either. I would take a few pics with it than let it go. That's me. But hey, it's your fish. You can do what you want with it. I don't have to think too highly of your decision though.

It takes generations to change that thought process...
And tougher punishments.

On March 30, 2011, Wade Bennett, 18, of Cayuga, Indiana and an unnamed juvenile pled guilty to killing First Mom. After killing the crane, the juvenile had posed holding up its body. Bennett and the juvenile were sentenced to a $1 fine, probation, and court fees of about $500, a penalty which was denounced by various conservation organizations as being too light. The prosecuting attorney has estimated that the cost of raising and introducing to the wild one whooping crane could be as much as $100,000

We used to have a blind in Grand Cheniere in the marshes south of Hwy 82. There were numerous local kids that would shoot the shite out of everything that flew, crawled, swam you name it and they'd shoot it. Seems to be more than your usual amount of idiots down there.

They should shoot this whooper crane. Why not? Project completely waste of money. You should see deer stand covert ops setup at White Lake. Security camera and all. They destroy acres of marsh by burning and fencing in for whooper

I think I saw Lreynolds hiding in the bushes and feeding the whooper croutons

fricking ridiculous, I will never be able to understand shite like this. would be awesome to be able to restore a species, but with the intelligence level of the average person out there i'm not sure it will happen.

The tards here in TX think they are albino Sandhills.

I can see the resemblance. Only difference between whooper and sandhill is whooper must have gotten one of Larrys croutons stuck in its throat thats why they make different noise than sandhill
