I still believe Moscona would be better with a co-host.

I'm not convinced he can handle that dynamic. I like the hour with Theriot on Fridays, but Matt doesn't quite know how to handle a little give and take sometimes IMO.

I used to really like Moscano when he was on 1210 with a co-host.

Seems like he created this arrogant persona to fit the "espn" title. Or maybe to fill the void of a co-host? Or maybe he is a Jim Rome lover?

Either way, after 3:00, I'm listening to music.

I like Ott/Hanny, but I really hope that the morning crew keeps putting in the effort they are. It's nice to have a different perspective and a handful of worthwhile guests.

Don't like Ott he is way to arrogant. I wish they would move the morning crew to the afternoon.

I miss the early and mid 2000's. I wish ott can have his own show again. I loved when he was by himself and having roscoe on and all the callers but I can't stand listening to some of his guest like mike delecano, Stanley with his baseball knowledge and the guy with the gold report. In all he was the best when he had his own show

I'm not sure of your point, but my point in mentioning Rome is it seems Matt is trying to be Rome-like with his persona.

I get satisfaction clicking both of them Off in as much of an arrogant manner that I can muster.

My point is rome's co-hosts are the brilliance and silliness of his regular callers. That buffers Rome's smug persona and adds a layer of ridiculousness to the show. Moscona's callers are all idiots and make him seem even more smug than he probably is IRL. There is no levity or humor to his show. Just a relentless exercise in moscona telling us how smart he is.

Makes sense, I'll have to take your word on that.

Even though never a team, individually Palmer and Hanagriff are the best BR radio had IMO. Both can provide worthwhile insight without being LSU apologists. C&P aren't bad but are massive homers. Mawae' segment is usually pretty good.

AFR is just terrible and getting worse

It's really not so much Culotta and Ponamsky as hosts .. It's that it is a well produced, professional sounding talk show. The guests are very good .. There's decent chemistry between the hosts .. and it has a good morning drive energy. Ott and Hanny are just turning into dinosaurs .. They sound the same day after day after day ... People are calling C&P homers ? Hanny gets a pay check from the LSU AD .. Can you really get more "homer" than that? Not knocking Jimmy and Good Luck Chuck, just saying maybe it's time to freshen up and reinvent themselves a bit ..

Hanny homer shows when talking bama but he's capable of being far more objective than C&P ever are.

Then you might not want to listen this morning. Lot's of ball talk, and school girl giggles.

I personally am enjoying this on a Friday morning

Moscona seems to talk down to his callers if they differ from his opinion.

Ott/Hanny aren't terrible. But Ott can turn into a fanboy from time to time [Ex. His love for Manziel].

Moscona doesn't treat his callers very well if they disagree with him. The caller's opinion is stupid, and Moscona's opinion is always right, in his mind.

I love Hannagriff's rants on Bama. It gets me fired up. I know he is paid by LSU, and I know he filters himself, but he does give criticism when others won't. He's not a total homer.

WAAAAAT?

Ott was terrible by himself. He's great with Hannagriff. BR sports radio is so much better than a few years ago.

eh I thought when he originally started doing this show, he'd be a puppet but he's far from it. He'll take Les and the staff to task quite often.

Ponamsky? His site depends on maintaining good relationships with the coaching staff, you'll rarely catch a negative statement from him.

That being said, I do enjoy the morning show.
