Really liked this kid a TON when we signed him. I know that the MLB position is like QB and takes time to learn. Does anyone have any real insight on him potentially becoming a great player for LSU. I've heard comments about the weather affecting him but that doesn't sound real. Really hope this kid becomes a STAR at LSU.

Gonna be a mean SOB when he lines up next to Beckwith in our 3-4 packages

Debo/Louis/Beckwith/CG3 will be the 4 LBs who primarily start and rotate out, I would imagine.

ETA - Louis, not Lewis. Freudian slip.

damnstrong, I think he meant Louis. Would like to see Garrett play a few downs before I have a clue on guessing his performance. I know he was rated high and maybe he can be really good...maybe not. The stars are good till you show up somewhere. I would love to see him be an All SEC player like all of the Tiger players.

New coaches and fresh slate, it would not surprise me one bit to see him start or play significantly along side Beckwith.

what does that mean? I thought him not playing last year was a scheme thing and a health thing because the heat earlier in the season was rough for him?...

I could be wrong.

Yeah, I meant Louis, hopefully we can continue confusing the two next season.

Hopefully he has adjusted to the maddening LA summer temp.

We're going to play some 3-4 this year. I wouldn't imagine a whole lot, but when situation dictates Garrett will contribute. Also imagine he'll play some special teams and rotate with Beckwith
