There's so much mundane script that has no meaning that I'll often skip and feel like I missed something.

Skyward Sword had a solid story. I really liked going back to the very beginning even before Ganon/Ganondorf.

The game itself was a bit of a letdown. Overworld was awful. Skyworld was like an emptier version of the Wind Waker overworld and the ground was divided into 3 sections that had no interconnection (had to go back up to skyworld to get back down to another zone). The whole thing was empty and disjointed.

Everyone is familiar with the Navi memes and how much shite she gets for being an annoying bitch. Fi is about 10 times worse. Bitch needs to shut the frick up.

The Wii Motion Plus controls can be a bit wonky. Sometimes they work great. Other times I had to repeat boss fights multiple times because it jabbed when I wanted to slice or vice versa. Perhaps playing in a bigger area will make that easier.

Twilight Princess is one of my top 3 (I consider it to be 1c with 1a and 1b being OoT and MM). The wolf bits are weird, but once you get done with that the game really opens up and is something great. Cool items. Fun dungeons and bosses. Big world to ride around in. Best companion of any Zelda game (Midna is the GOAT).

tl;dr Twilight Princess is amazing imo. Enjoy it. Skyward Sword is worth playing for the story, but the game can be frustrating/annoying at times. It isn't bad, just a bit disappointing for what I expect from Zelda games.
