Still haven't seen this. I meant to when it was on Netflix, but I blew it.

City of God

so many people don't want to watch it because it's in Portuguese and you have to read subtitles. But 15 minutes in and you're hooked.

Except my SO, who asked to cut it off when the violence picked up.

Lately - for my hockey friends, Goon. It aint Cassablanca, but it's as solid of a hockey movie since Slap Shot.

My wife and I watched Star Wars on DVD during our first date. She had never seen any of them.

Mulholland Drive. I get straight to the point. If they say they liked it and want to see it again to figure it out, I value their movie opinions going forward. If not, they are dead.

If it's a chick, then it's always Menace to Society. Because 20 minutes into it, they want to do anything but keep watching the movie. Always works.

I introduced dear Zachary to a big group of people of mixed genders. We just need something to do on a weeknight.

Every single girl thought I was a fricking psychopath for watching it twice AND recommending it to others

True Romance. I got my son in law to watch it one night. After watching 2/3 of the movie he asked "are there any actors not in this movie?"
