We tried it once a couple years back with no success.
Filled it full or corn and strawberry jello.

Just trying to increase the odds in getting a few of these knocked out at other bait sites other than the timed feeder, I ran across these pig pipes hoping for some input from fellow OB'ers

I've heard of them, but never used them before. I think BP has used them to some success, IIRC.

Buddy of mine uses one with some success. It does a good job of keeping them there for a while.

I have used one with some success. They are nice because once they are coming in you can sit out in a blind in the dark drinking beer and when you hear the pipe rattling flip in the spotlight and kill them hogs. I did have a huge hog bend the T post in half and drag the entire thing 300 yards from where I put it once.

Pro tip: drill a 1/2" diameter hole through the square portion of the cap so you can use a length of 3/8" rebar as a wrench to get it off. Also a little anti-seize compound on the threads helps.

I hunt on a guy's place in San Saba that has a bunch like that. The pigs use the hell out of them. I don't have any pro tips, because he always has them baited before we get there.

We built two last year. They work good and would recommend. Make sure your tether them down.
