Kevin Stallings has gone undefeated at home 3 complete seasons while at Vandy. Biggest home court advantage in the sec. We'll see what happens.

We are better though, obviously.

I dont necessarily disagree with you. However, the issues at hand, big or small, are just baffling. You as much as anyone know this team should make the NCAA tourney and anything less will be a disappointment.

Totally agree.

A lot of my hangups with Jones are things that he should be skilled at, which is why I am extremely confused. Those who watch LSU play realize the problems we have had with Gray at point. I harp on this only because it is something that Jones should be well versed in. shite, he was a very good PG and has the experience. Therefore it is difficult to watch the way Gray conducts himself as a PG with Jones being his head coach.

I think Coach Jones realizes that LSU can be their best IF Gray can play fast and yet not turn the ball over. The best way to get Gray to be able to do that is allow him to continue to push the tempo, however, it has to start working soon or it will be a moot point.

I can get past certain flaws because every coach has them, but late game situations and PG play should be two calling cards of Jones and that is far from the case. Hell after a timeout in the A&M game, he put Gray back in the game, Jones drew up the play for Gray to drive with the option to dish to Hornsby in the corner. But we were only down one at had plenty of time to run a set. He had 3 timeouts at the end of game that went to waste and could have been used to slow down aggie runs.

This is a concern of mine as well. Still, I doubt that Gray's first read was to pass out to Hornsby. I'm sure he was hoping to get past his guy and force rotation from a post player and pass it off to Mickey/Martin, but that didn't happen so he had to get it to his outlet.

I just leave these games confused more-so than satisfied with the outcome.

As do I. We probably shouldn't have been able to win at Ole Miss and we do. We should have beat aTm and Missouri and we don't... The only game that went as it probably should in SEC play was that UGA game. Two good teams played good games and it went down to the wire. Just looking for that consistency.

Completely agree. It is just perplexing to me that Gray and Jones arent on the same page at the end of the game. We can't seem to control tempo in the most crucial moments and eat clock while a good look.

This is really all I am asking for.

When this year goes into the history books it will be judged on a macro level and I think allowing Gray to make the mistakes he has will help the team longrun. But we played stupid on Saturday. Just plain stupid and that is totally on Jones. With timeouts in his pocket, he allowed LSU to quickly shoot themselves out of LSU's best SEC start in 6 years.

If this game comes down to coaching, mark it down as an L for LSU.

Well no shite. That would be the case for just about any team playing Billy Donovan.

What does this mean? If LSU wins by 10-15 was it not because of coaching? What if LSU wins by drawing up a play to sink the game-winning basket in the last 20 seconds?

I just hope we aren't getting into a situation where you think that every win is because of the talent and every loss is because of coaching.

LSU fans are some of the most irrational in sports. LSU basketball's whipping boy is Josh Gray, yet he's supposed to be our 4th best player, and nothing gets said about the "All-Star" Martin who has shot 33% or lower in 3 out of 4 SEC games. Fans see what they want to see

Magic number is 70. We have yet to lose a game when scoring above 70. We are 1-4 when scoring under 70
