Benny needs to improve FT shooting, but the athleticism is there for sure.

I really liked the comment that he impacts the game even when he doesn't score. Need more of those type players

His teammates need to anticipate his passes better. It's like he's playing on a whole different plane of existence then his teammates and they just can't see the things he's seeing.

Only problem I've seen is the 2-6 from the charity stripe.

You can find the replay if you search it .. I have it recording but peaked at it earlier via ESPN3.

The FT shooting will come. MVA has a rigorous in season schedule where they practice on gamedays and everything. No time to get up 500 FTs in a day and such like off-season allows. By the time he's at LSU, he'll have had the time to master it.

Should be able to get a replay on ESPN3.com anytime after the game ends.

Totally agree. It will need to be an off-season fix. Totally fine. Quarterman has proven you can drastically improve FT shooting over an offseason with the right amount of time and practice. 55% to 80% in one offseason.

Very good point.

I just started watching at the start of the third quarter and he already has at least 10 in that time.

THese semi-pro high schools are just ridiculous. Players like Patterson get lost in the mix, but still come ready to play in college cause they play at such a high level.

So this tool Cory Alexander bases Simmons' skills off one game? Said he can't shoot from the perimeter? Has he watched any of Ben's games this season?

Yeah, he was definitely ragging on him unfairly. He doesn't shoot from the outside much (because it's stupid for him to at this level), but he does make 3s at a decent clip.
