Making Crawfish Bisque

It's my grandma's recipe. She passed away 15 years ago this month and this is only the second time we've made it since she died. It's so awesome and I love it, but it's a lot of work. My kitchen even smells like her house right now!

I posted this old-school method before. It's from the Time-Life Foods of the World series, Creole and Acadian volume published at least 30 years ago. Rated one of the top 10 Louisiana cookbooks. Marcel Bienvenu was a consultant on the volume.

I made a Crawfish Bisque Thread. My mom made some Saturday and we had it for supper last night.
