It's my grandma's recipe. She passed away 15 years ago this month and this is only the second time we've made it since she died. It's so awesome and I love it, but it's a lot of work. My kitchen even smells like her house right now!
Love ya, Grams!

If I could choose my last meal it would be my mother's crawfish bisque.

Would you share her recipe?

I posted this old-school method before. It's from the Time-Life Foods of the World series, Creole and Acadian volume published at least 30 years ago. Rated one of the top 10 Louisiana cookbooks. Marcel Bienvenu was a consultant on the volume.

I made a Crawfish Bisque Thread. My mom made some Saturday and we had it for supper last night.
