Week and a half ago I held a colt defender at Gator Guns in Sulphur. It's all black finish .45 with Crimson Trace laser grip installed. I should have never held it. I've been obsessing over it since and if I hadn't already had a few beers Saturday, I most likely would have bought it.

Tell me what's wrong with this gun and I why I shouldn't buy it.

Usually i'm more likely to buy one after a few beers. Regardless, you should buy it. If you don't, someone else will.

Absolutely not! I wouldn't care if it's the worst made gun on planet earth. If it shoots lead projectiles, it's cool.

Are you dating/married to the love of your life? Are you happy? Same thing. Marry that gun.

It's not a Glock.

Maybe you should ask for King Ranch's approval. He has a nice firearm purchasing stance here lately.

Sorry, but I could never, in good conscience, talk a law-abiding fellow American out of exercising his 2nd amendment rights.

Very nice!

What's the difference between this and a Defender?

The agent is lighter and has trench sights (snagless profile) instead of traditional sights. That's about it to my knowledge.

I have a SS Defender that I'd sold you.

I think it's too small of a gun to comfortably shoot a .45. JMO

Good luck, and congrats on your purchase.

Thanks, I think.

This gun will be my carry piece after I find ammo (JHP's) that it will eat consistently. Picked a box of Speer gold dot 230gr to try at the range tomorrow.

Anyone have any experience with aliengear holsters?
