Settle an argument: Ranch vs. Bleu Cheese?

My position is that its a "regional" thing. Being from the north, you'd have to go out of your way to get Ranch on anything. Yes, it's available, but it's not the staple.
My opponent is arguing that it's a "racial" thing..
What say you?

Homemade Ranch at Cruisers Cafe in St Augustine is easily the best ranch I've ever had. Combined with their bacon cheese fries and it's heart stopping heaven.
That said, Blue Cheese on my salads, all day, err day.
