This would be great for the MLB if this were to happen. Joe Madden at manager is huge and our pitching improved significantly with the addition of Lester.

I guess it's time I declare the Vols will win the East then cause we have a much better shot at that than the Cubs do the central

It's all built up to this year. All of the pieces are there. Just gotta make them come together. Wouldn't surprise me at all the way they've grown their talent from inside.

Anybody who has actually followed the team somewhat knows this is a real possibility, but you will get a lot of "Lol Cubs" reactions from the simpletons.

I think they are a year or do away. However, competing for the Central isn't much of a long shot. Winning it may be, but this team will be better than they have been in the Theo era.

I think most Cubs fans knew this was the goal. However now that Rizzo said it out loud and threw in the ole "You can quote me on that," it seems this will be a near impossibility.
