Houston will be hit pretty hard if these prices hold long term. How many people do you know moved to Houston for a job not in O&G? None for me

Me. I moved in 2 1/2 years ago from Charlotte by way for BR before that. I'm in wholesale commercial insurance. We do have a lot of O&G clients so we will see some slow down in my office and certainly not the 30% year over year growth of 2012,13,14.

However, I've stocked several really nice bonuses now and am excited to jump in on a flat housing market. We could have moved on a couple of houses we liked last summer but I had to talk Mrs. Mule down. I just couldn't justify spending $500k for a bungalow in the Heights or $400k on some crap row house.

I am interested to see what will be on the market by mid-year.

The housing market hasn't flinched yet.
