ah Lego Movie was absolutely fantastic as a family movie.

I am not even a lego person, but that movie was so unique and I love how they tied it all together on the ending.. I had no idea how they could end a movie like that, but it was perfect.

I haven't seen a lot of those. Looks like Birdman is everywhere in the nominations, I couldn't stand it. Thought American Sniper was good, not best picture good. Especially over Gone Girl and Nightcrawler.

Looks like Selma is not the Oscar darling everyone assumed it would be. One nomination total, though it is for best picture. Given the lack of any other nomination, especially best director or best actor, it is unlikely to win.

Of all the major awards, the only movie I've seen is Gone Girl... damn. Guess I'll be tuning out this year.

I saw Grand Budapest Hotel. It was ok but I can think of 10 infinitely more enjoyable movies I saw this year.

First time I haven't seen a single one of the movies nominated when they were announced. Will be seeing American Sniper/Selma this weekend though. That's a pretty shitty list. Record low ratings.

American Sniper I absolutely enjoyed, but is not Oscar worthy. I am sorry it's just not.

How Gone Girl is not racking up nominations left and right I have no idea. Gone Girl was fantastic.

Lego Movie should win something, that's a universally agreed upon as a tremendous family movie.

I am stunned that Lego Movie didn't get a nom. I originally thought it was a lock to win.

The acting categories are pretty stacked this year, but no LEGO movie or Interstellar is just sad. And the Hobbit didn't get nominated for special effects? What?

Holy shite will they please give up on trying to ram that movie down everyone's throats like its something more than a mediocre sequel?
