Does this campaign feel really weird for Halo to anyone else?
im 3 missions in and it just feels, different. Idk I can't explain it

Yes it feels different. It was made by a different company, so not surprising.

The story is really weird, of course Iooking back it feels like they should've just tied a neat little now around the story after 3 then been done with it but they like money and no way they were going to go that direction
I'm gonna finish this campaign just bc I have MCC and set out to finish all of them but I sure don't like it very much

I liked H4 campaign, way different from the others but i still enjoyed it( after a replay of them all HCE is still the best) and all the new weapons and enemies.
If im not mistaken alot of the people from bungie that worked on halo moved to 343i so i trust them and like what they are doing with the story and they kinda messed up halo 4 mp but from the beta i like what i see in 5

I couldn't be bothered to finish it.
The large maps involving vehicle fights and large outdoor battles are missing and when they introduced a new species to the franchise they had the same AI and characteristics as the covenant. WTF really?
343 has no clue wtf they are doing and what made Halo SP so special.

As a person who only plays campaigns, Halo is like heroin to me. I'm still chasing the magic of the first one. It will never happen.

I enjoyed it. The game felt different indeed, but that for me was expected. It kept the Halo feel enough to keep me satisfied. MP no thank you.
I was more impressed with the Forward unto Dawn movie leading up to H4. If they can do a full feature lenth omg.....

Yea I really need to watch that, I've heard some ppl say they liked it and heard others say it was shite.

For what it was, it was really done well. But it wasn't Master Chiefs story. He just showed up. When he did, you could see how b.a. a big budget feature could be.

Yes you do, it was awesome and as Witecoco said if they can pull a full length feature with Master Chief being his bad arse self it would be a hit for sure. I know my money is ready to be spent on it

I only have two complaints about Halo 4. The watchers that regenerate the knights are so annoying. I spent way too much time behind the scope trying to take those things out before engaging the knights. The other complaint was I found grenades to be far less useful in Halo 4. Throwing grenades to decimate groups of covenant was a reliable offensive option in 1-3. In 4 they seemed not very effective.

The grenades aren't as affective and their aren't near as many laying around as in previous games
