As I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate the Jazz greats more and more.
I don't want to do any ranking bullshite. Just what do you consider to be your favorite jazz album for whatever reason.
I have become very fond of this album and could listen to it over and over:

My favorite is "Grant's First Stand" by Grant Green.
Guitar, B3 organ, drums. It's got swing, blues, and plenty of soul.

It's hard to pick just one. I tend to prefer fusion.
Little Worlds: Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
Heavy Weather: Weather Report
Romantic Warrior: Return to Forever
Thrust: Herbie Hancock

I love lots of jazz albums, but what do I listen to the most?

I like Idle Moments by Grant Green, and The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery a lot right now. So I'll say them.
Also my favorite Miles album is In a Silent Way.
Bill Evans is somewhere up there for me as well.

It's cliche/legendary for a reason. A phenomenal album with unbelievably talented musicians collaborating.

Light as a Feather is a great one, I love Flora Purim, may be my favorite female vocalist of all time.
I love so many 'jazz' albums, but there is nothing quite like Miles Davis- In a Silent Way. Bitches Brew is another classic by Miles, so much damn talent in his bands!!
