Does an underwhelming DC hire lead to a conservative offense?

During the regular season, LSU was 5th nationally in T.O.P. This was both a way to minimize mistakes from our QBs and lessen the burden on our defense.
Will we implement a similar style next year to assist Steele, who may need the help?

Wait, what? We had an elite DC and had an offense that would make Rush Limbaugh blush.
Like the previous poster insinuated, this may be the only thing that will open the offense up.

He did open up the offence when Maleveto was in charge of defence. Unfortunately Miles, Lee, and JJ were not capable of a reliable offence.
Do you think Jennings will be up to the task?

I don't think we have to be overly concerned about an conservative offense unless a key player pops out of the blue or an alternate with much swag and determination settles in.
We have an arsenal of "hand grenades" but required someone to pull the pins!

No way. We cant be any more conservative than we were last season, and Miles knows that will not win SEC nor put us in playoff hunt. He knows he can't take another 4-5 loss season, or his seat will be really hot.

Guess I'm alone here. Hope you guys are right. This just feels like a Defense U would want to stay on the bench as long as possible
