Our place is a 16 x32 shite hole camp in the middle of the Honey Island Swamp... We have electricity, satellite tv, but no running water; however, we eat better than most of the people in St Tammany....

One night of the weekend we eat steaks. When not eating steaks we're grilling oysters, red fish, making BBQ shrimp or cooking a spicy pot of duck and sausage gumbo...

Always bacon and eggs for breakfast, with a rack full of biscuits... I'm talking thick Wrights brand bacon with spicy deer sausage...

We always have the bar stocked with Jack, Makers and Absolute.... I love being at that place...

For some reason, the food always taste better at the camp....

We keep just about everything under the sun at the pantry at the camp.

It seems to frequent that people go over there nowadays and hangout to get away from their old ladies.

Nothing better than killing a hog, putting it in a Cajun microwave overnight then having it for breakfast the next morning with your eggs biscuits and gravy and coffee

I usually start out with a big can of Showboat Pork&beans and add the following:

Browned (deer) meat
Chopped onion
Brown sugar
Sweet Baby Ray's
For spice, I'll add red pepper or throw a few dashes of hot sauce depending on the consumers

Put it all in a pyrex or roasting pan and bake in the oven for a couple hours on 300 or so. Really hard to mess up and flexible. The syrup would be a nice touch. Maybe molasses or honey too.
