I'm sure its been said before but the guy is still getting paid by USC to sit at home. He also has a son still in high school who's a pretty good football player and maybe he wants to stay closer to home to spend time with him? IMHO he wants to be at LSU or at least I'd hope so. The dude can coach and recruit. I can see your point, but how do you know he hasn't already turned down schools being that he's already getting paid?

The guy doesn't even have to lie when he says things about not being contacted. Anyone making preliminary calls are doing so to his agent, not him. If nothing progresses, it never gets to him directly.

As for LSU, who's to say he and his buddies here haven't made some comments back and forth. But still, those aren't formal talks.

He's just going to sit back and keep saying that same line until we see his name roll across an ESPN ticker next to a school.
