Ohio State doesn't win a National Championship with Braxton Miller

It's pretty remarkable that our 3rd string QB won us a title, but pretty ironic that Braxton doesn't have the accuracy to lead us to the title. And Jones and Barrett were both more poised and in control this year.

People thinking that Miller will possible win the job back are crazy and misinformed.

It will be an interesting spring that's for sure.

I agree. But the Barrett and Jones race is much closer. They both deserve to start. Miller should go to LSU. It will be the perfect litmus test for Les Miles.

At this point, with Urban as your coach, you could have won a national championship with a polar bear on roller skates as your quarterback.

Third string backup looked NFL ready... are you kidding me?

Cardale is the starter. You don't win big ten championship, sugar bowl, and nat championship and go to bench.

Braxton transfer. Cardale starts. Jt injury redshirt.

Uh, ok. I never said he wasn't a good player. But he's fragile and has poor accuracy.

This offense runs when you can rush with an RB and have a serviceable QB that can keep the defense honest with the QB keeper on the read option. You also have to be accurate to keep the defensive backfield and linebackers honest.

Braxton was never able to do that consistently.

Honestly I don't see how you don't start Cardale Jones next year.

I know Barrett is a baller, but Jones' combo of the deep ball/power run is just unfair for a defense

He's already burnt his RS and he won't be injured during the year next year.

JT will be the starter. People forget how incredible he was this year.

I didn't see much of ohio states season, but based on the Bama and the Oregon game, it was your running game that won it all for you not your passing.

The pass set up the run. But yes.

I don't think Braxton ever played a full season, so I agree. If he goes down in the midseason, even if we're doing well, a backup doesn't have the amount of time to get all the reps to get up to speed.

Typically you have to be injured to use a medical redshirt.
