Looks like a product of the system to me. Won't be able to run as much in the NFL and if he does he's gonna get killed.

Not knocking him but he just seems like one of those great college QBs that struggle in the NFL. I could be wrong but i don't see how his game will translate into a traditional pro-style offense.

Based on tonight and the sugar bowl, Jones looks like he has more upside as an NFL QB.

I'm not a scout or anything but it seems like Mariota's passes just get there.. Jones drives the ball and puts it on his guy

He'll never be as good as Winston. Tough pill to swallow. Oh well, the practice squad in the CFL isn't that bad.

History has shown that QBs like himself won't make it in the NFL

You're comparing Russell Wilson to Ben Roethlisberger.

I'm not saying that either guy will be as great as the NFL counterpart--just that you're comparing apples to oranges.

He can always stay in school. He's a junior.

With less talent. I think Manziel would have killed at Oregon.

Mariotta is 17/22 for 189yards and a TD. And his WRs have dropped at least 3 of his passes, 1 for a 50yard gain.

He's playing fine tonight.

Will he have crazy #s in the NFL like he did at Oregon? No.

Will he go through some growing pains in the NFL? Sure.

But he's got the talent to play in the NFL.

This is not a single QB in this draft class that appears to be NFL caliber.
