Probably not this year.

I think Jones like him bringing energy and scoring off the bench. Besides he plays starter minutes anyway.

I think next year could be interesting. With Patterson improving and Lyle and Blankley coming in, I think Gray might be in danger of losing a lot of minutes if he does not get it together. Hornsby and TQ will not lose minutes.

Gray is probably a better individual scorer and maybe better with steals. Problem is tq looks like a much better team player. Tq is who i would start

TQ is playing 31 or so minutes a game. Does it really matter if he plays the first 4 minutes or not?

Of course, perhaps that is the reason this team seems to start slow every game.

TQ just is mediocre at Basketball, and I don't know how he even made it to LSU, but as bad as I hate to admit it, he's LSU's best player...Call it team player, or whatever, he gives his all...

TQ is a legit guard. I don't think you know what mediocre means.

Yes, I mean it as average, and was almost as bad as Grey is, last year, but man has he improved his on-ball defense, and offense. My post wasn't a slam, just that I've never liked his game, but he's scrappy as hell. and he's growing on me....

TQ is better off the bench. Gray played a Hell of a game tonight. Missed a few shots he should have made, but 6 assists and 2 turnovers is pretty legit. He also is the best at creating for others. I think TQ and Gray work so well because seems more relaxed off the bench. When Gray was out, TQ seemed like he was pressing a little and couldn't just flow

I would start Gray and TQ, move Hornsby to the bench and come in with Patterson. Then see what 2 have the hot hand that night and are playing better and then roll with them 2 down the stretch.

But I really like TQ's height and length when we press. Dude has arms for days.

I feel like Gray is most likely the more talented individually but is still figuring it out. And he has the best handles on the team. Just going through some growing pains with the team and SEC ball and all that. But I'm not jumping ship just yet. He just needs to stop pressing and let it come natural to him. But I also feel like the reason he's pressing is because our half court offense is horrible and he tries to make something happen. If you can get back on D and slow us down in transition, you can beat us. Once we have to slow it down and play half court offense, it's bad. Especially when Martin is off.

And even though we stuffled tonight and are coming off a lose vs Mizzou, this was a huge emotional win for us and think the arrow is pointing up.

TQ seems like a mediocre talent, but I'll be goddamned if he doesn't have the biggest balls on the team. He will brick a 3 like a I've never seen a guard brick a 3 and then come back down the floor and hit one to tie it up just 2 possessions later.

He'll drive and squirm and get to the rim--and maybe the line--when we desperately need it instead of waiting around for Mickey or Martin or Gray, who should be trying to take over at the end of close games. If any one of those 3 had TQ's balls, we may be a tourney team. But they're soft. And we're not.
