I don't get the hate for Smith. He's fiery, competitive and talented. He can be annoying if he's an opponent, but so what?

Annoying? Is that what we call sucker punching teammates and starting fights after every play now? Tom Brady is competitive. Marshawn Lynch is competitive. Steve Smith is a cowardly thug. How can anyone defend someone who sucker punches people? That's one of the most cowardly things a person can do.

For an NFL wide receiver, he IS a midget. And he definitely has a chip on his shoulder. By the way, every single player in the NFL is competitive. You don't get to that level without that drive. But as others have noted, not everyone is a thug piece of shite with anger management problems, fighting with everyone around him, including his teammates. frick that guy. Mark my words- in five years, he'll be in prison for assault.

For all you guys hating on SS...I went to Pro Bowl a couple of years ago and he along with Brees and Patrick Willis were the only NFC players signing and talking to the fans. Not Aaron Rogers or Cam Newton, who both blew off everyone! Saints need someone like SS who has a chip on his shoulder and wants to be the best every game!! He would have had a serious attitude against Carolina this season but we blew it by not signing him. That's why we are watching the playoffs this year.....
