We spent 10 million dollars over 3 years for +1 bench point a game. Genius

What if Gordon took another contract with the Pelicans in somewhat of a restructure? It wouldn't be bad. He is a solid player he just should be making like $10 million a year.

Can Gordon opt out and we still go over the cap signing him to a new contract? Or maybe it could be done in an order of new Gordon contract then sign Asik with bird rights.

He's a far better player than salmons.

Turned trash into a solid bench wing.

Well Cunningham is playing with the first unit tonight. I could see him and QPon sharing those minutes instead of Babbit.

He's not worth that contract he has. This team is full of players not worthy of the contract they have and one superstar who needs a contract quadruple of what he currently has.

I would contend that Gordon is the only guy really overpaid. About 4-5 million imo.

To say differently would be to ignore the market across the league.

Anderson has an excellent contract.

Asik has a solid contract if you consider the cap hit is like $8 million.

Tyreke and Jrue at $10 million are not bad contracts at all.

Q had developed into a good player. He hasn't been playing well for a bit now though.

He's the kind of player that could be very useful.

Stupid trade. Why take on more salary for a fringe player? Leave it to Dell to make ANOTHER minor move just to do so.

At what cost? If he were on a 1 year/$2 million deal, I would agree with you. $11 million over 3 years does not excite me.

Regardless something like that will be spent on bench players/role players. If we have a draft pick something like that would be spent. It isn't a huge amount of money as long as he is a contributor.

If there's some big name guy we're trying to sign, Pondexter's contract wouldn't be hard to move.

If/When Demps is fired, you should apply for the job.

This move says to me that moving Gordon and creating cap space, what most of us want, is not the direction they are going. They are either going to be happy with adding a guy like DeMarre Carroll with the MLE or trade Ryno for a SF. If the cap space QPon is taking up won't be used then the only thing that matters is he plays well enough to be a $3 million bench player.
