Yahoo Sources: Boston, Memphis and New Orleans working framework of Green to Grizz, Pondexter to Pelicans, Prince/Salmons/pick to Celtics.

I didn't realize how bad he's been from 3 over the past season and a half.

Well Rivers can say bye.

QPon has a 4/$12 million contract.

I guess he expected to be part of the future.

Dude has completely lost his confidence since going off on the Spurs in the WCF.

He's had some run ins with the coach too.

I like Q a lot, he just has to reign his game in. When he doesn't try to do too much he is a great role player, he gets in trouble when he thinks he is more than he is.

Very underrated defensively.

That's fine with me if it's a second round pick

Yeah we just need him to be a solid defensive wing that can hit a couple of shots.

We needed another defensive wing.

Probably a Cunningham-level move, which is solid.

Babbit to the bench. Rivers gone in the offseason. Maybe looking at Gordon long term on a smaller contract with more years?

This is what we needed. He just hasn't done it enough.

Just having a playr with the handle of "QPon" is enough, imo.

QPon makes $3.146 this year, Salmons can only bring back $3.1 I'm not sure if we can make this trade without sending anyone else out. He also is in the first year of a 4 year deal. It's not huge, about $3.5 per year, but that limits our cap space unless we trade Gordon/Reke/Ryno. It really reduces the likelihood of stretching Gordon IMO.

The team looks really solid right now. If Gordon helps make this a more consistent team then the team can go on a run.

If QPon can come in and play some 3 and D then it would be better than what we have in Babitt. It changes the second unit a good bit.

It shows they may also not see a future in Rivers and I would expect him gone. If Rivers is gone maybe they also see more of a longterm future with Gordon.

Also Salmons was a waste of space.
