Saw a real nice one that met the front end of a Camaro before he could get across 61 right at the entrance to the Port Hudson site. A bit south of where you hunt, but they might be starting to move.

Two bucks in the 140 range have been hit this year by cars in front of our property on Hwy 61. Really sucks
Had 2 does and 3 yearling troll by at about 8. Was sure they'd have horns not far behind. Haven't seen anything since.
Gonna get down about 11 and eat and warm up. Plan to be back by 1:30-2
