May have missed my chance. Hit the rattle bag real good. Set it down and see a buck coming through the CRP. Get my rifle up and can't find him. Look with naked eye and see a tail going away

Just drove up from BR for my last weekend hunt. First one of the season with my Pops since he worked 98 straight days offshore. Don't really care if I get anythjng, just glad to be together this weekend in the woods

They laid down 2 racks bucks this morn before 8 am. Nothing huge a basket rack 7 and a decent 8 pt. add that to what they killed yesterday and we got 3 deer in an ice chest. It's cold as ball and its sleeting on and off.

I just ate a "sweet and hot" slim jim. Tastes like the original. I feel cheated. Just turned heater on in stand and took boots off.

Post rut action is on. Finally getting cold here. It was in the 70's all during. My nephew missed a cull 6pt 5 1/2 yr old this morning would have been his 1st deer.
