I am looking for a new wallet and came across the Tailian RFID blocking secure wallet. I had my credit card number stolen from someone scanning it, while in my pocket a couple years ago in New York, so this wallet is interesting to me. Does anyone have one of these wallets and do they protect your credit cards and id like the manufacturer claims? Tia

I just like how In the description it talks about passports like you are somehow magically going to be able to fit your passport in there.

Most of them just have a layer of foil stitched between the leather. If that is the case, I seriously doubt it works.

Reading the Amazon reviews, it appears as though the RFID blocking feature doesn't work.

Tempting as it may be, I just can't reconcile owning a credit card with my faith in Jesus Christ

I read the reviews and was wondering how did someone test the RFID blocking feature

is that a Faraday cage disguised as a wallet? if not, the claims of blocking RFID are probably BS

Just curious how you found out this was the method they used?

I went to the NY to pick some one up and while we were there we walked through Times Square. We was only in the city for a little over an hour and I didn't buy anything or pull my wallet out the entire time I was there. A couple days after I got back to NOLA, the bank called and said someone just purchased over $500 in merchandise in New York and wanted to know if it was me. The bank informed me someone probably scanned my wallet while it was in my pocket. It was the explanation they gave me and it made sense.

I brought the Access Denied brand wallets... they appeared to be more legit than some of the RFID blocking wallet sellers on Amazon.

My wife bought me a Z clip Lemans for Fathers day last year. It has RFID blocking and is carbon fiber. I would never buy it myself but I grew to like it and looks good as well.

Land/Sea travel passports can be the size of a credit card and have RFID chips in them.

No issues with your cards falling out? It looks legit, but very expensive also. Just curious.

All I really keep in it is a little cash, less than $50 usually, a debit card and my license so no issues so far. Yes I agree, expensive; Probably why I would not have bought it myself. I am kind of a cheap skate unless it has to do with buying the kids what they want or sporting stuff like guns and fishing gear.

Jesus paid all our debts. You're not supposed to un-do that, it's a big time sin.
