5 year old dead after FLORIDA dad throws her from bridge

A St. Petersburg police officer who was heading home just after midnight tried to stop a PT Cruiser that passed him going about 100 mph. The officer said the car stopped on the approach to the Skyway bridge and he saw a man get out and throw a child over the rail into Tampa Bay. The officer said the man then got back into his car and drove south.

I saw this and thought Florida...not again. Regardless, how can anyone do this to their own child? I just can't fathom what kind of heartless person could do this to any child, much less their own.

The dauphin Island guy was a Vietnamese man that lived in Georgia, if I remember right. Is that the one?
Seems like his wife had left him, and moved to Bayou labatre with her family. That was several years ago, so I might not remember right. Sad stuff.
