Blind Guy was my favorite too! Cannot believe they cut him. He didn't mesh well with that group of girls but the judges should have seen past that. I love him and his dad - I thought their relationship would have been a great backstory throughout the season.
Hollywood made it through thankfully - he's my fav now.
First time I have watched idol in several years - they have some good singers and the judges are entertaining in of themselves...
Note to future idol hopefuls: the sure fire way to get camera time during group round is to "get exhaustion" and flail around like idiot. That crap bugs the hell out of me.

i can't even remember who did what during group week.
It seems like the let a LOT of people through. did they ever give the number of how many people are still in the competition?

Not that I heard. They ultimately go to 24. I guess the solos start tonight. Groups were boring as usual though there wasn't as much drama as usual. I'd be fine if they skipped all of this and went straight to whose left for solos. I don't know if we'll see every solo, though.

Don't know if the cute little boy did quite enough to make it another round, but I don't know if there's a round between this round and the top 24. First girl sounded really good.
ETA: he made it to the next round, so there's at least one more round until the top 24.

I posted a few weeks ago that I already looked at the Top 24 list, but you'll just have to wait and see if she gone or she stays for another round.

I recognized it as similar to hers, when her audition was shown before I ever looked at the leaks. Some might be wrong, since they're leaks, but its not looking that way.
There are other things on this show tipping off who is probably in the Top 24 other than just the people who are good singers. I figured it early on before I ever looked. That's one reason I finally did look. I wanted to confirm it and I was getting bored.

So far, much better than last year for sure. They really haven't shown many poor performances which is more enjoyable.

I dont understand these people who have anxiety. Uhhh...you are saying that you want to make performing in front of people your life. How can you not like performing in front of people?
And dont say its that you like singing. You can sing in the shower. You specifically want to sing in front of people. But, you dont like doing it. I dont get it.

Could be all the cameras and they make the group thing so that there's drama. Surprisingly, it doesn't appear that very many have breakdowns.

I'd have kept Rachel and Maddie, but agree that Maddie had the hairline edge. Maybe Rachel will be a surprise return.
