That thing better be aluminum or have a modern engine/transmission.

Oh yeah, I think chevy pretty much locked up the midsize truck market for this year. If they don't bastardize it like they did the s-10, they will hold a strong share of the truck market.

Doubt it. I'd pay more for a Tacoma over those two just for the reliability. I'm going to give the new Colorados a couple years before I jump on board. GM will have to work the kinks out and I might buy in.

Toyota has not updated their engines in a while. Instead of investing in internal combustion engines they invested in hybrids and now hydrogen fuel cells. Meanwhile others have passed them up by making their engines more powerful AND fuel efficient. Don't get me wrong, I think Toyota vehicles are bullet proof, just behind the times.

my 07 is still doing fine. I don't think that 16 is bad looking. Has the exact same bed mine has. People bitched about the beds being composite. Nothing wrong at all with that composite bed. I've had a ton of stuff back there before and no issues. Not surprising all the people here saying the truck is ugly,yada yada yada. Same is said for damn near every new model truck released. This Tacoma is no exception.
