First, I've said 3 times in this thread that banning him from TD seemed excessive. 2nd, this has been many months in the making, like I said before we've taken it upon ourselves to start threads asking people not to lead him astray and we've asked Boom nicely multiple times not to go astray. Pelicans threads should not turn into Rockets threads when we aren't even talking about Rockets, but they do all too often. Hopefully it will be a short ban that will encourage Boom to stay on topic even if others try to veer him off course.

I wasn't for banning the guy necessarily, but in my opinion the board got sidetracked with the dumbass arguments that he instigated. When I found myself responding to the guy, I wanted to kick myself. But really, it was inevitable that he'd get a rise out of people and clutter up threads with nonsense.
I wouldn't mind having someone around for good discussions, but that wasn't happening.

Damn, I missed this. I wasnt trying to get the dude banned, just wanted to raise awareness of the shite that goes on on the board. I vouched for Boom in a reinstatement thread when he was banned last time and he plays in the same fantasy league as me. Definitely wasnt trying to get him banned.

I've never come running to the help board to piss and moan about a poster that I don't agree with ...Just deal with the poster in the board .. Don't come over here like a pussy .. You didn't ask for a ban, but you certainly incited the movement that led to it .. There's a reason why the Soccer Board has greater mass appeal than PT .. shite like this is it .. Yall want to improve the board you can start by improving threads. Here we have a trade and all we have is a thread with an OP of a copied tweet. No details about the trade just a copied tweet from when the news first broke. Instead of the OP providing useful information its more of contest to see who can post a tweet first. Congrats you have twitter, do you feel like an insider ? I'm sure Chicken likes when people have to leave TD to find another website that can provide those details.
