Just saw this on Twitter.

We are all aware not everyone here is the biggest CLM fan but it's hard to argue the consistency he's brought our program the past 10+ years.

Let's give him a chance to right this ship, win another one, and leave LSU a better program than he found it

He deserves that chance

Y'all think it's cool that we had the SECOND most wins? That's loser mentality. I demand excellence not mediocrity.

3 national championships since 2009 is also pretty impressive.

But the only team that hasn't played for at least one is Wisconsin.

Well, I'm sure that any team without a single holding penalty the entire year or ridiculous mulligan could win them significantly easier

Yes and LSU is 3-0 against those teams in that time frame. Les is weird no doubt. I get mad at him as well.
Many idiots on here apparently think LSU is Gods gift to college football. How young and/or unhappy as people are you guys?

Having said that, if LSU loses 8 or more games in the next two years, I will agree it maybe time for a change. Les is quirky and doesn't always tell the truth(imagine that), but he has a record to stand on.

The Miles curse is that Saban went to Alabama and has been very successful. Yes in 10 years Les has had two 8-5 seasons and one 9-4. The other years he has won 10 or more seven times. Saban did that two times in five years in a much weaker SEC.

Saban is the better coach now, but Les has done very well with less money available.

There's no doubt that Les has done great things for the program and I don't think you are going to get ant complaints from any LSU fans for his track record early in his LSU tenure and what he has done for the program. But like everything, college football is about what have you done for me lately. Rabalais' recent article cited some concerning stats about the direction of the program during the last four years as a sign of where the program may be headed. That said, where's LSU on the " most wins" list during the past 5 years? And it's because LSU isn't near the top of that list and that the program is no longer revered nationally as it was during the first 5 years of miles tenure that just simply has people concerned and upset about the direction LSU appears to be headed.

Only because of impatient, short-sighted fans who base their self-worth on a game played by kids.

It doesn't HAVE to be about what have you done for me lately, that's just the immature demandd from insecure fans.

I think we could schedule Lafayette High and Lee High and maybe Lake Charles High we could pick up 3 more wins

That is about the caliber of some of he folks we play and you want to act as if they are Notre Dame

Michigan consistently refers to itself as "the winningest program in college football history" as they have the most wins all time. I think that is a joke as they have only 2 or perhaps just 1 1/2 national titles. Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and several others have a much stronger claim to that title.

A great win loss record with little to no hardware is somewhat hollow. Les's idol Bo had a great win loss record but no national championships. That does not garner legendary status in my opinion. Is Marty Shottenheimer legendary?? A solid coach, but not on anyone's list of coaching legends.

Very good coaches win a lot of games over a long period of time and are considered to be of legendary status by most of their fan base (Beamer, Lavell Edwards, Jim Mora Sr., Hayden Frye, Bo, Les Miles, many more). The great ones and true legends win national championshipS!!!!!!!!

If Les gets us back to the top and wins another national championship, he will move into that elite group. Until then, he simply is not!
