How does this work?

Why is he still not under contract with the Saints?

Cooks and Maybe Vinny will be the only ones left from that class by opening day at this rate. What a waste

Ronald Powell wasn't horrible in the preseason.

Even Rooks was surprised when we drafted him. I'll give our scouts another year...but Jesus, this is pathetic. The only guy that they hit on was Cooks and we had to give up a 3rd round pick to get him. Powell and Sunseri are good at special teams, but that's not hitting on a draft pick. It's called getting lucky that the guy can play ST, b/c he isn't good enough to start in the next 2 years. We NEED to hit on our draft this year.

When did I say the saints had a good 2014 draft? I actually said the opposite.

Reading is hard for some though. Glad to know I have real estate in your head though.

I remember the graph that he posted...it was cumulative, and not from the 2014 season alone.

Keep drafting like this and you can kiss improvement goodbye.

I can understand missing on a 7th round pick, but missing that badly?

We seem to always go for the homerun hit. Sometimes it works like Colston, Graham and Armstead. Sometimes it backfires like Rooks, Romeus and Martez Wilson. Last year, I think we took way too many risks though.

I do want to see if Powell gets some PT this coming year. He should be healthy now.

He was a 6th round pick and not one single draft publication had him with even a 7th round grade. Most had him not getting any UFA offers. I am almost positive the guy they wanted got taken right before our pick and they said "frick it, just pick any of those Tackles and let's get the hell out of here". Incredibly frustrating draft, but that seems to be the norm lately.
