These two teams did not meet in regular season
Shared the MVC title
NDSU was seeded 2
Illinois St was seeded 5
Illinois St has OPOY in Coprich and NOY in Roberson
NDSU has DPOY with Kyle Emmanuel
NDSU going for 4th title in a row
Both teams have only 1 loss

Yes he left after Sunderfeld beat him out. If he had stayed IU goes to a bowl. Sunderfeld got hurt and IU played a true Fr Diamonte at QB and floundered.

NDSU Senior WR Zach Vraa still doubtful for Saturday. Could be game time decision. But when you can only dress travel squad may be bigger than usual.
