5 reasons to expect better offense in 2015

1) Cam's resume and credentials are being negatively affected. His reputation of developing QB's is in serious question. He may decide on his own to part ways with the Jennings-starter approach and instead convert to the Jennings-quality-backup approach. He will see a lot of film over the next few months and realize just how poor Jennings has "developed".
2) Miles - even Miles must consider how his record at recruiting, selecting and developing and playing QB's is a problem. His delusion or hard-headedness will reduce some.
3) We just can't do worse at QB than we have. Happiness is a low base, and we must be better just by the law of averages.
4) RBU
5) WRU

3 reasons you're wrong
CLM is still head coach and sitting on a comfortable contract
Cam is a BBQ'in mofo
Alleva

The first 3 are wishful think pure and simple

Need Alexander and Hawkins back IMO. Even then, will LSU get the mediocre QB play needed to be successful?
Mett in year 2 under Cam was light years ahead of Mett in year 1 under Cam, but Jennings doesn't have the ability Mett does. We'll see, hope Harris emerges this summer.

This isn't a factor unless the QB play improves though.

Jennings is JJ Part II but worse
Perplexing that Harris never really got back on the field after the AU game. Not like Jennings did anything tremendous to keep his starting job

Now is this facts or your opinion?

1. ?
2. ??
3. Agreed--we can hardly do any worse than 2014, although that doesn't explain why we'll be better in 2015.
4. A vastly better run game in 2015 will lead to a better passing attack? I wouldn't bet on this.
5. A more talented receiving corps will improve our passing game? Maybe--but not as much as better QB play would.
I'm not seeing anything convincing in what you've written.

Wrong. Mett in year 1 was under Stud.

Here are the issues with your reasons.
At this point it truly looks like Miles last coaching stop is LSU. He has plenty enough money at this point to never ever worry about life. So his record at recruiting is just fine and no one can say anything to the opposite. So unless he goes to Michigan "no longer a viable option" what does it matter regarding what his rep is.
Maybe true but if you don't utilize the talent to its full potential what does it matter. Miles has consistently proved he is afraid to open up an offense.

everything you listed is wrong but your thread title is correct
1. Cam and Miles saw how bad this offense was and at the end of the season started adding some new wrinkles that opened up the field to some degree. They will build on what they started and make further improvements in the offseason.
2. The above will make both QB's look much better. They were put in bad situations all season and the passing game never had a chance to develop.
3. Both Jennings and Harris will actually be improved, along with the receiving core, in addition to #2 above.
4. Fournette and Guice and Tyrone Johnson
5. See #1 above.
