A little beer reflection and evaluation. If anyone wants to play along, Top 10 new beers you tried this year and beer related resolutions for the new year.

Top 10 (INPO, just selecting 10 was hard enough):
-CCB Double Barrel Hunapuh
-RR Beatification
-Bruery Mocha Wednesday
-GI Proprieter's BCBS 2013
-Funky Buddah Maple Bacon Coffee Porter
-Lost Abbey Duck Duck Gooze
-Bruery Mash & Grind
-HF Citra Single Hop
-TG Psuedosue
-Alchemist The Crusher

Honorable Mentions:
Parish Ghost in the Machine
Alchemist Focal Banger
CCB Grandmule
FFF Baller Stout
TG Assassin
CW Sixteen

Resolutions:
-No drinking in January
-Try some BA Mexican Cakes, BA Dark Lords, and some more TG & HF stuff.
-Get a freezer for temp control brewing
-Drink down my stash/cellar a little.
-Lose Weight/Run More
-Upset my wife LESS when it comes to beer-related antics. No Drink January should give me a head start on this. Our wives are angles who put up with alot.

Also, to follow up on my last year resolution, this was a giant success:

2014 I want to knockout some Bruery Stuff (Black Tuesday, Chocolate Rain, fruited sours) and try more under the radar local east coast beers.

Chase beers less.
Drink down some of my "cellar"
Start Brewing Beer.

Debating a lenten break from drinking since it looks like I may be working nights for a lot of it.

I could probably get on board the wife thing too, although she drives me to the antics. Already improved in 2014 by not going to the ER as a result of said antics.

I did pretty good with my 2013 resolution to not chase beer as much, although i still did my share of chasing. For 2015 Id like to drink down more of what I have stashed away and cut back to just 2-3 days of beer drinking a week. Need to shed a few lbs that can probably attribute to beer drinking. Again in 2014 I got to try slme great beers..... I really want to try zombie dust by in the end of 2015... I feel like I'm well behind the curve on that one

I want to try a "whale" per say
I want to try a zombie dust and piny
I want to cut back to drinking on on Friday/Saturday
I want to attempt to brew a beer that I would actually drink
That is all

Just curious, what does this mean? Is it the same as chasing a shot of liquor, i.e., following it with some other drink? Sorry if that's a stupid question.

It means driving all over town in search of limitied release beers and in turning spending more money than you probably wanted to.

More like driving around the city or finding mules to bring it in or trading far off.

It gets time consuming, but can be fun at times.

For 2014 I wanted to start tracking my distinct beers on untapped. Hit 500 for the year last night.

For 2015

Drink more local beers
Drink less beers with Yeezy
Focus on getting free shite
Buy a lambic basket

I want to track mine but I find it difficult to check in every single beer.

I love the chase. Sometimes it's better than the beer I'm looking for.
