There's so many 'what if's' in history, but Nazi Germany was apparently working on an atomic bomb of their own during WW2. Their success would have changed everything if they had correctly prioritized their efforts. We'd be speaking German?

What would the new year be without Fox News ushering it in with some tabloid nonsense on its "Science" page.

Where would they have detonated it? In Europe on the land they were trying to conquer? Surely they knew about fallout. How would they have gotten it to America? I don't think subs could launch nukes back then.

How would that have stopped the American army?

I speak Dutch, a Germanic language. But just enough to give commands to my malinois. Now that I think about it, and staying on topic, Atom would have been a great name for her had she not been a bitch.

It would have stopped the logistics for the European theater, thus stopping the American, and British, armies.

LOL. Watch "The Atomic Cafe" (free on youtube now). Even Americans didn't know about fallout.

Just beat me to it.

They couldn't have invaded in sufficient force without England as a staging area.

Do you think Hitler would've hesitated detonating one in France, Italy and a couple in Russia after D-Day? He could've wiped out huge chunks of the Russian and Allied armies in 1 day. That would've froze all advances and given him time to regroup for a counter attack using nukes in a blitzkrieg. Don't think for a second he would've given a damn about the health of most of his troops storming through an atomic fall out. Then he would also would've mounted them to his infamous V rockets.
All of Russia would look like Chernobyl.

They had jet fighters at the end of the war that were far, far superior to anything the allies had. If they had time to mass produce them, we'd be speaking German

Could be. But they were having severe logistics problems with their ground forces at the end of the war, so don't know if that would have made a difference or not.

The top British test pilot got to fly the jets after the war and was stunned at how amazing the Nazi jet was. Pretty sure they just started producing them ay the very end of the war

Netflix has a good show about nazi mega weapons. The jet is in an episode. Very good information. Scary shite they were close to perfecting at end of war.
