When ran correctly the Triple option is the hardest offense to stop. GaTech 521 yds total offense 400 yds rushing.

Lsu should have gone to the triple option 6 years ago. They definitely beat bama worse than 9-6 and would have a 3 bcs title.. Ohh Well!!!

Hire Paul Johnson and get rid of Miles.

People stop it every bowl season. This will be Johnson's 2nd bowl victory in 7 seasons at Ga Tech.

This QB runs it to near-perfection though. FSU absolutely couldn't stop it. Their D just couldn't get the additional stop they needed to win against them. No team has stopped them this year.

Consider that we would have three of these guys on the field for every offensive play - LF, Williams, Ducre, Guice, Brossette. Whatever it takes to win, I say.

Might want to brush up on your history.

We stopped it cold in 2008. Same offense, same coach at GT.

As much as miles likes to run the ball, why doesn't he like to run this?

I think we beat them 38-0. We went in as underdogs. In think they had like 6 first downs all game. JJ lit them up.

Johnson's record at Ga. Tech:
2008 9-4
2009 10-3
2010 6-7
2011 8-5
2012 7-7
2013 7-6
2014 11-3

You probably would have been one of the first to call for Johnson to be fired in 2010, or 2011, or 2012, or 2013......

Lsu has a different caliber athlete than ga tech. Can you imagine Buga Hillard or magee behind ga tech qb and oline

Larry Lacewell came in and taught Les how to do it.Its all assignment defense. Practice the whole month with no football. Larry killed sent the option into retirement back in his coaching days.

Paaaalease!

Teams like GAT and G Southern and Air Force and so on run these offenses because they generally have a lack of talent comparative to other teams and this offense allows them to be competitive.

LSU does NOT have this problem! They have MORE talent than most teams outside of maybe Bama and FSU. LSU just needs coaches willing and able to use that talent.

I wouldn't really want LSU running that offense, but it is hard to stop if you have a great QB that executes at a high level. Georgia Southern was the only team to score 20+ points on the Bama 2011 D (one of the best defenses ever). They ran the triple option and rushed for 300+ on them. That's almost unthinkable.

Thanks Big EZ. NEBRASKA changed there offense when the defense was their problem. Lsu has stud athletes and their offense is piss poor.

It would make recruiting a whole lot easier too.
