analogy and the way the rest of the country thinks of Miles as a buffoon. Then you try unsuccessfully to understand his awful coach speak and you understand why they call him that. Worse than that to me is just the outright lies regarding Brandon Harris getting playing time toward the end of this year. If you can't take someone at their word, they're not good for much.

Really needed another thread that says the same thing as the rest of your posts?

It is time for Les to go. Hell, I loved Cholly Mac, but he needed to go. He should have been treated better than he was when he was forced out.

Yeah, we need a more honest coach like Saban.

So when this was posted earlier, it wasn't true, was it?

You realize how slow this place would be today if this was actually being enforced?

A more interesting topic would be how do you envision Les leaving LSU?

Forced out? Fired? Retired? Sad to see him go? Happy?

I agree. Miles is downright dishonest. He keeps saying one thing and then never follows through. This is an aspect of him that is underplayed. His incompetency as a coach is roundly discussed but he is also a liar.

Me personally? I'll assume that's what you were asking.

It depends, obviously. If he rights the ship and LSU is truly in contention for the west again beginning next season and beyond, then when he leaves I'll be sad t see him go as he'll clearly end up the winningest coach in the history of the program.

If things continue as is I'd assume he'll be forced out as the clamoring for his head, whether rightly or wrongly, will have taken it's toll. I'd hate for things to go down like that as it would likely be bad for the program and would make it harder for LSU to rebound.

I like Miles...I love LSU football. The suggestion by some that those of us who are not ALSO lighting torches for the mob care more about Miles then the program have been the most absurd claims during this time.

all that being said, I have concerns about Miles and the program as it currently stands. But what's the point in me or others trying to voice them here...trying to have reasonable or rational discussions amongst the din or some truly idiotic complaints about the man or program? As with most thing, it's not the most thoughtful that get heard but the loudest.

I have no interest in being the loudest.
