The Bucs, Jags, Titans, Raiders, ect., would all blow Bama out on their worst day...

But could they beat a Canadian football team? Say Ottawa Redblacks who went 2-16 this season and are pretty horrid.

What about the 95' Huskers, 99' FSU, 01' Canes ?

2001 Canes could maybe beat a lot of terrible NFL teams.

Playing CFL rules or NCAA?

I think that's a good question. I honestly don't know how talented CFL teams are or aren't.

Yes. There isn't any NFL talent on a bad CFL team. There is considerable NFL talent on a good NCAA team. Playing NCAA rules and quite a few college teams beat a bad CFL team.

CFL players are still professional grown arse men playing college kids. And those CFL players are mostly comprised of guys that were really good on the college leve

Those grown arse men don't have and never had the talent as some of these kids though. And I hate to break it to you but these college kids are big and strong as frick. Rookies make an impact in the NFL every year, a scrub CFL team would have their hands full with the Alabamas and Florida States of college football.

Yea the CFL is a professional league, but it's a league for guys that weren't good enough to play in the NFL. It's a league comprised of a lot of Canadians that weren't subjected to year round football since they turned 12 like kids in the southeast. Just because you're a pro in something doesn't automatically make you better than amateurs. There are plenty of professional basketball teams in Europe that would get scrubbed by Kentucky.

Half of the the players on a CFL roster have to be from Canada.

A CFL team would have age and experience on their side, but not talent.

You might want to look at how small a percentage it is of rookies that make an impact in their rookie season

And then look at the percentage of that small percentage of those players that come from the same college team

What about an Arena league team? Surely they could beat an Arena league team.

Seems like dang near every team has somebody from LSU on it.

Across 10 years and 10 drafts, yeah

But they've had what 4 NFL rookie contributors this year? And that's an anomaly. Good luck finding these other 18 guys that are on the same level as professionals

Why are you only looking at one year though? You're only looking at a fraction of a college team by looking at a single year.

There is NFL talent in every recruiting class every year at elite programs. Even more CFL-caliber talent.

But you're also talking about players not good enough to play in the NFL vs a Bama team who may have 15-20 NFLers at any 1 time, and a few that are NFL ready right now.

Maybe. Its hard to say because the game is a little different in Canada. I think if they were playing American football - they'd have a good shot.

do CFL players have "real" jobs in the offseason? Big time SEC programs have much better nutrition and strength programs than these teams that would offset the age advantage the CFL teams would have.
