I'm sure he did. I was at the game, so I'm not sure what was said on tv.

But we would've beaten Florida in a rematch had we gotten to Atlanta. Then crushed Ohio state too. I LOVED that team.

Only bad thing about that game was listening to Terry Bradshaw all night.

if only we had opened up the game plan vs auburn instead of trying to run fat injured backs sideline to sideline vs a team that defended that well. The first loss to UF wouldn't have mattered.

Same here, but recall some folks we were sitting near that were in contact with tv viewers saying this.
That loss to AU refs was a killer (was there too) and the UF blunder game cost us the title!

That bullshite incomplete pass called on Hester's catch early in the game still pisses me off. We would've scored a TD on that drive.

No shite, the no PI call against early in EZ still gets me, watched the tv replay later even announcers were besides themselves, but we could on forever over the calls this game!

I got absolutely fricking plastered before that game in the French Quarter and remember none of it. Had great seats too. Don't even remember being there.
