Was thinking
Austin
Somewhere in Florida

Florida panhandle is cheap as shite in winter.
Can probably get a really nice condo for like $500 for a long weekend.

A 7 day cruise out of New Orleans is really reasonable during those 2 months. No airfare, no hotel rooms, etc. Just drive down on Sunday, get on the boat. When you get back, just drive back home as well.

Living that close to New Orleans makes cruises really economical.

My family is taking one next month out of NO.

We're taking a Norwegian 7 day cabin with picture window for 1400. Thats for a family of 4.

They really are cheap this time of year.

Booked a couple of months ago through kids sail for free through NCL website.

Right now on NCL website, you can get one for 1750 plus 200 cash back, or specialty restaurants every night, or bev package. All are really good deals.

If that's w/ NCL, that's basically the same cruise they offer every year. We've been about 4 times. It's a good inexpensive vacation, with plenty of time for everyone to do what they want. Ports in Coz, Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya Mex., and they are all pretty good locations.

Right now, with a free bev package, you can cruise for a week, drink all you want, and not have a bar bill. It's really hard to beat. My BIL went with us a few years ago, and I think his bar bill was more than his cruise ticket.

I dive, so I get 2-3 dives in per trip, and spend a day or two in port with the family. Something to do for everybody.

Eden condominiums in Perdido Key. They have the best outdoor pool and an indoor pool. I have been taking my family there for 13 years starting when my son was 2 months. BBQ pit area also is a plus.
