This can't be overstated. Family of 4 and we cook at least two meals a week using crock pot. Turn on I morning and ready when get home from work. Usually enough leftover for lunch the next day.

I buy alot of the meat when its on sale and freeze like boneless chicken thighs and breasts. Other than that most of the meat i cook is deer i kill and process myself. On Sunday i may cook a damily pack of chicken thighs trimmed and sliced thin in a pot with onions. Fix maybe 5 containers of this with brown rice while the rest goes in fridge that i can make wraps with or mix with vegetables. I may also have 2 dozen eggs scrambled.

How do you reheat scrambled eggs? Doesn't sound very good to me.

I make a few containers with some ham, turkey or just ground meat in container and microwave it. Sometimes eat it plain or on those wheat sandwich rounds. Put some onions or mushrooms in it to make it better. With the eggs i often cook in a teflon pan with no oil and leave the yolks runny and reheat in microwave. The sandwich rounds can be toasted and spread some humus on it before putting the eggs.
