Yes, it's the worst. I love all of the festivities. Now it's over.

yea but it kinda really hits after new year, i always take 2 weeks off so post-new year going back to work sucks cock. i just enjoy coming home and being with my family/friends the most. the bells and whistles and presents are just gravy. i find people who say they 'hate christmas' usually love it but are just trying to shield their inner gay man.

My getting down if I do is perhaps due to many factors not related to Christmas though the 25th seems morbid because the city is dead. Christmas Eve is the best.

Things that get me down are maybe that football is coming to an end, seasonal and January kinda sucks.

Also, seeing anything Christmas outside of December irritates me.

I get bummed out when it's over. Usually it kicks in when the last episode of the 24hr Christmas story marathon ends. Once it's over, i don't want to see Christmas decorations anymore.

Like I said the other day, Christmas is just another day for me. I usually cover for guys with young kids and just work. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. It's just another day for me. No family local, single, never married.

Life goes on.

There is a certain aura around Christmas that just instantly fades away. People quit being genuine and start to show their real colors.

I pretty much consider Christmas day through a couple days after NYD all part of Christmas season. Enjoy the entire time. I'm also not a big gift giver/receiver. I only go shopping for a few specific things. I just enjoy this time of year with my family/being off more than anything. I think if you get caught up in the overly commercial version of Christmas, it ends much more abruptly.

Yes. Sad but not depressed. And for me it's more of a "we didn't make the season what it's all about" and the real meaning. It gets too hectic and crazy with regular things and then Throw in shopping, cooking etc ...every year I say I'll do it "right" next year and well, it's the same old same old.
