I see that Moreau is listed as having a 4.8 40 time and a max bench press of 275.

Is puzzlement.

Mouton is the best TE recruit we have. Shipley will be used like Gordon is I doubt he will be moved to tackle. Moreau wouldn't be bad if we didn't have 2 other TE's committed to us. In my opinion mouton is foster 2.0 so I really don't get this

Mouton will be more of an H-back than a TE

And Upchurch, who seems destined to get lost in the shuffle as a 235 lb WR seems faced with big competition at H back.
BUT, it's an intriguing idea if you are willing to throw to those guys...

I think of the H Back as the most versatile TE.
Moreau doesn't seem to project there, either.

If you believe Shipley won't likely be moved to tackle, do you think LSU has a good chance to get one of the OL they are still pursuing, and if so, who? Not necessarily doubting what you say. Remember, Stephen Peterman was a highly rated TE in high school, was looked at there first, but became a very good offensive lineman for the Tigers and even played in the NFL.

I still would have preferred for LSU to wait and give Moreau a commitable offer sometime in January, but as long as at least one more solid OL can be added, along with one or two LB'ers, then okay.

I honestly don't know if we get another o line commit but we should be alright next year especially if hawking and Alexander returns. If not I think we go with pocic LT brummfield G/C clapp G/C Teuhema G and domond RT. It would be a young line but their is a lot of talent between those guys. Next year we have to get some tackles for sure

Probably closer to accurate than 90% of recruits posted measurements.

Don't think so, Lester.
Lott was both faster (4.62 in 40) and much stronger ( max bench of 375).
Did Lott ever have a career reception.?
Can't find one , although he is credited with an asst. tackle on ST.

Great pickup. I am not sure why he wasn't being recruited by other SEC schools. I was impressed with his blocking and catching skills this year. He will develop into a pretty solid player for LSU.
