He is my neighbors nephew and i am a Jesuit grad so I've seen him play a few times. Kid was the biggest reason why Jesuit beat Rummel in the playoffs. According to his uncle he has no Div 1 offers and its a mystery.

We'll that def makes Shipley a tackle prospect. It's amazing how many tight ends we have on our roster but yet don't use then at. All

We use TEs more than any other team in America. There's so many knuckleheads in here.

Trey said that Tulane likes him, but they don't have room for a QB this year. He may go the JUCO route play there and transfer out.

Ya, Jesuit QB has one of the worst throwing motions and mechanics I've ever seen

He has nice size, that's about it

About Moreau - State was coming hard per my source. Bama was showing interest too. Air Force and the Sun Belt schools were always on him.

He'll be a nice 4-5 year player.

Great news. Here's hoping that we do not get him up to 270 to block. This guy is a good blocker with some speed and nice hands; glad he came aboard.

Yes, he can easily play H back and fullback. Great hands good speed. I do not worry about 3 star or 5 star, thats just a number. I look at football IQ and heart
by all indication he is elite at both.

Makes sense.
Let's just sign 25 "elite IQ's and hearts."
Then we can scoff at the rest of the SEC west.

Football IQ and heart go way further at blocking TE than they do at MLB, so I'm not sure why this was brought up.

No amount of football IQ and heart can overcome a lack of talent. The position does not matter if the guy you are trying to cover/tackle/block is bigger and faster than you.

I'm all for the guy with heart getting to play. Unfortunately, it must be present with talent to win championships.

I'm not saying the kid isn't talented, but there is a reason that some positions are called "skill positions" and some are not. If you don't understand that it takes less talent to be an effective blocking TE than it does to be an effective middle linebacker then I don't know what to tell you.
