I'm having problems every time I come t Tigerdropping loading up. I have to do a recover web page two or three times and some times that doesn't work. I don't have that problem with any other web site.
I had emptied my cookies, still having the problem. This is a new puter and it is running McAfee total in the back ground. I'm at a lost on how to fix this. Any help?
Thanks

What browser are you using?

Internet explorer 11, I guess. I'm dumb when it comes to computers.
I did check for any updates and it's up to date.
Running windows 8.1 and I hate it.

I use firefox for tigerdroppings bc I have all kinds of problems when I use internet explorer.
McAfee causes as many problems as it fixes, but it probably isn't the cause related to TD.

Download Chrome or Firefox (if you can figure out how on Windows 8).

As previously mentioned, these should take care of your problems.

Added firefox, still no help.

classic shell is here. Simplification, but you can essentially "roll back" to windows 7/vista or even XP's start menu. The big icon "metro" screen can be turned off. Download then open the file. It should be fairly simple. Report back if you have issues.
And I always use chrome over firefox. I find it more lightweight, faster, and generally reliable. I don't dislike firefox, but I don't open it unless both Chrome and IE fail me.

Thanks Doc. That helped a lot. I hated the way 8.1 worked. Why the hell did they put all those extras into it?
Now, the only problem using this is to make the font bigger.

Hold ctrl and roll your mouse wheel (or whatever gesture you use to scroll a page with)

They forced the OS into a touch-friendly theme. It's a shock at first. It becomes really nice if you spend even just the smallest amount of time with it. It's also great for a home theatre pc. For a regular laptop, it's a departure from the "we mean business" norm that they've always followed, but it's much more functional than the knee-jerk reactions had me to believe.
