Jim Mora Jr. - small sample size. At best on par with othet SEC coaches

Gary Patterson - tPOS who went 4-8 last year. TCU can keep him and his methhead players.

Mullen - needed a team with 17 seniors and 12 juniors on the two-deep to finish 2nd in the West. Before then he was 2-21 against ranked teams and finished no better than 4th in the division

Freeze - will have Ole Miss on probation soon.

i do think Franklin would do well oc Penn State wouldn't match an offer

Freeze? Based on what? Tubberville and Cutcliffe and even Nutt have had seasons even better than this one for Ole Miss. We want a coach that put up barely any points against us? Also, what's the attraction? What has he proven he can do that's worth getting rid of Miles for him?

Please remember you are trying to rationally discuss football with a guy who admitted yesterday that he is cheering for notre dame to beat lsu and hoping lsu loses at least 5 games next year.

Here's my pick if he would come and Miles left/fired:

Gary Pinkel. You cannot argue vs. a man who takes constant outside top 15 recruiting classes at a basketball first university and produces great talent and winners. Say what you want about how weak the SEC east is. He also was as close as Rich Rod was in '07 to playing in New Orleans against OSU.

Have you watched Maty Mauk this year? People would be calling for his head just as loudly as Miles'.

Some. Never was THAT impressed.

What if he had the same talent Miles had? It's dubious that Pinkel has even half of the (recruiting) stars combined that Miles has.

I'm just saying if the hunt were on tomorrow and we ended up with Pinkel, I think it'd be much better than Freeze.

SO. They had a better year than LSU did and his depth is only growing..

BTW What is your problem. YOu cut down ANY OTHER coach... So IF Your lover Miles is that much better than anyone else why isn't LSU in the playoff every year????

So I guess he has done a shitty job recruiting????

Ok. Miles went to Ole Miss last year and Ole Miss was missing most of its D and Freeze beat Miles...
You are a helpless homer... Hope that we never meet... I would have to curbstomp you just because you are just that stupid..... I don't think I have ever met a guy in love with Miles so much.. Do you really suck his dick everyday???? You must and like it..........

Thanks for agreeing! Maybe we can hire him after Les retires.

ISWYD

Seriously though. If Miles doesn't retire soon, it might be difficult to compete to bring Franklin here. The more time that passes, the more people are going to throw $ at him.

Or he could get a statue at Penn State. Big Ten needs another good program.

They had a better year because of said depth, which will be growing away from StarkVegas next year

Because this year is the inauguration.

He's done an excellent job with recruiting. So much so that it will result in sanctions.

Freeze went to Baton Rouge this year and LSU had no offense and Miles beat Freeze.

exactly! out of his 16 from 2001 only half of them had halfway decent nfl careers and most were freshmen that year. another point is that 2013's team will probably have 8-10 more nfl players than 2001's. some are already contributing big in the nfl in their rookie year. (obj, hill, mett, landry, blue, turner, ego)

The game has CHANGED big time from 2001 to now. Do any of you truly think Dominic Davis, in an I set, would do any damage to anyone in the SEC? Also, Howard Green vs. Bennie Logan, etc. ?

My point is that offense changed so much and if you gave Les Miles the 01 team and gave Saban the '11 team, I doubt you'd see much difference. Anyone honestly think the first 13 games would have gone any better with a different head coach? We skull-drug everyone minus Bama and Miss State.

Also, think back to 9/11 and it postponing the LSU/Auburn game by 9 weeks. I wonder what that outcome would have been minus the tragedy of NYC.?????????
