I know how this thread will go but I'm going to post it anyways.

- Leads the league in completion percentage (70.32%)

- Leads the league in yards per attempt (8.49)

- Leads the league in passer rating (114.4)

- Leads the league in QBR (82.3)

- 2nd best TD/INT ratio in the league (4.0, 32/8)

- Has been playing extremely well at the end of the season while the Cowboys are surging at the right time. (3-0 in December, 8.93 yards per attempt, completing 79% of passes, 10 TD/ 0 INT, QB Rating of 138,129,151 in December)

I don't think it happens, but you make a good argument based on numbers for sure.

If it is announced near the SB, I'd say we need to see him in the playoffs.

It's always regular season only.

Or else Peyton would never have won it

They will not allow him to ever win an MVp. Doesn't fit the narrative.

I think the argument for Demarco Murray is strong enough to stop Romo from winning.

I had this discussion with a buddy who is a huge Romo guy. He's had a good year, but he's behind Rodgers, Brady, Luck, Murray, and likely Watt in voting.

What Rodgers and Brady have done with those teams is nuts.

Romo's numbers are great, but he has Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, Murray and an O-Line full of 1st round picks. When is was his responsibility to try and win games, they were a .500 ballclub. Murray has been more vital to that team than Romo.

When is it voted on and announced? They say regular season, but if you lay a turd in divisional playoffs it can't help. Unless ballots are sent in and resulted by this Wednesday.

Card carrying cowboy hater here, but meh. Let him have one. MVP not Super Bowl btw. Dear god not a Super Bowl.

I guess jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Eddie Lacy, Gronk, Brandon LaFell, Blount, Vereen, Edelman and Amendola are all chopped liver

I think Rodgers wins it but Romo definitely has a compelling case. He's been the most efficient QB in the NFL this year but I think Murray easily being the best RB in the league will hurt him in the voting.

Rodgers may win it but Romo has been the best Qb this season. And he's the most valuable to his team. How did Dallas do when they had to play with Weeden as their Qb vs Arizona?

DeMarco Murray might hurt his hand even worse punching his monitor if he reads this.

I think so, too.

I disagree but he's pulling his weight.

Who has played better? Tony Romo is 1st in most passing statistics except for volume stats like passing yards because he missed a game with a broken back.

If his name was Tony Manning he'd be a lock to win MVP

How many Rbs could you switch and put behind Dallas' offensive line this Sunday vs Washington and get the same production as Demarco Murray
